Each house, except El Establo, is private and unto itself. Each house is unique,
all featuring Costa Rican hardwoods and elegant hand carved details. The houses may be rented individually, or for a family or group up to 13. It is a great way to spend your vacation together, yet with personal privacy!
Campo Alegre is the perfect destination for singles, couples and families seeking a vacation destination providing a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. There are four houses on this two acre property. Three of them are available for rent.
On the property you will find also a friendly menagerie of horses, dogs, cats, turkeys and ducks. A few of whom may wander in to say "Bienvenido!" now and then.
The main property has an full size lap pool
for cooling off after a long day at the beach, and
regulation, lighted tennis court that guests may
use during their stay. The entire property has
been renovated in 2006, and the pool is brand new.
A ten minute walk down a shady lane brings you to Playa Guiones, one of the premiere surfing beaches in Costa Rica, and one of the three Beaches of Nosara.
Campo Alegre is conveniently located to the beach, Nosara Yoga Institute, restaurants and shops. Trips to the village require a car or ATV for transport.
CASA ALEGRE
Casa Alegre is the original main house of the Campo Alegre property, and has been completely renovated during the summer of 2006. It is completely private and secluded.
This is the perfect spot for nature lovers interested in seclusion, privacy, and walkable access to the beach.
Casa Alegre sleeps 6 comfortably and has 2 king size beds in 2 separate bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms, and 2 twin day beds in the main area. Two additional futons can be rolled out in a pinch. A/C in both bedrooms.
Large open concept kitchen, dining and living area. Beautiful hand carved doors and beds complete the ambiance. The front patio wraps around 3 sides of the house, and is a great place for dining, entertaining, or relaxing in the hammock watching the world go by. Located atop a hill with views of the surrounding area. You can hear the surf at night. Maid service once per week.
CASITA DE AMOR
Casita de Amor, with A/C, has an open studio concept with kitchen, queen size bed and adjoining bath. This is a charming, cozy, comfortable spot for two people. The patio is surrounded by gardens and overlooks the tennis courts and pool. You can hear the surf at night. Multiple varieties of birds and butterflies visit the gardens surrounding the property, and monkeys drop in for dinner most nights. Weekly maid service is included. Sleeps 3 with additional single daybed.

EL ESTABLO MAREA
El Establo Marea is brand new and just completed in August 2006. This is a unique apartment for animal lovers or those desiring something out of the ordinary. This apartment is built above the horse stables and is completely contained with outside back entrance. Full A/C makes it cozy and comfortable. Costa Rican hardwoods and careful hand crafting make this exotic and unusual. And to answer the question on everyone's mind! The apartment is completely enclosed, insulated and fully air conditioned. We mention this in case you don't enjoy the smell of hay and other barnyard aromas! We understand.
