La Casa Que Canta has lush, tropical landscaping and a beautiful view of the Costa Rican rainforest against a stunning back-drop of the Pacific Ocean. Sunsets here are a must! Grab a cold beer or fresh fruit juice and enjoy! The house is spacious and tastefully decorated with local hardwood accents: teak ceilings, guanacaste slab tables, hand-crafted rocking chairs ("abuelitas" or little grandmothers), interspersed with as many rustic local touches as possible. This includes the outdoor patio ceilings of Cana Brava (raw cane), Strangler Fig beams and more.
Native-style sculptures, a large outdoor dining table on the tiled patio, surrounded by tropical plants and trees: dining outside has never been so enjoyable! La Casa Que Canta has an infinity edge pool overlooking the jungle and ocean. The pool has a small bridge separating the deep pool from a small kiddie pool with waterfall feature. Hammocks and hammock swings are scattered in little nooks around the large outdoor patio.
La Casa Que Canta has a very spacious indoor living space, complete with comfortable couches, chairs, stereo and TV. The rustic staircase leads to the first sleeping loft. Fully equiped kitchen with breakfast bar and laundry room are to the right.
La Casa Que Canta 's sleeping loft in the main house has both a queen and twin beds, mosquito netting, tiled floor and cana brava ceiling (raw cane). Perfect for children or a third couple.
La Casa Que Canta 's first master bedroom has a gorgeous, exotic full bathroom (accessible by private bedroom entrance or off living room), king size bed with mosquito netting and private patio entrance to deck and pool.
La Casa Que Canta 's second master bedroom is more like a master suite. It is a separate little Casita across the patio and pool bridge, containing a master bedroom with king size bed, private patio entrance and deck, full bathroom and sleeping loft (not pictured): great for children.

Our family had a great vacation at
La Casa Que Canta. The house is wonderful and has a spectacular view. The pool was great to swim in after a day at the beach. Monkeys were a blast and we had fun exploring the Nosara area. Next time we need to
stay two weeks!

Thank you very, very much for sharing your treasure of a home with us! We were thrilled that the house was even better than the photos online! So many fantastic details and a great layout, along with a wonderful upkeep by Felix made for an outstanding retreat after a day of surfing and exploring. I brought a group of friends (mainly alumni from University of Florida- from Wakeboard and Waterski Club) and it couldn't have gone any better. I definitely hope to return someday.
