I would like to consider myself both adventurous and well traveled. When someone mentions opportunity I weigh my predictions and hopes... Tipping the scale more in the favor of hopeful outcomes than perceived haphazards.
When my dear friends - already experienced in the Realm of Nosara- Suggested this adventure- I jumped on board with both feet.
These feet are now to toasty brown and covered in that Lava Black Rudeness-(sand).
These feet work tirelessly, bringing about happiness and serving others- as do those of any comrades, we all deserve this ecstasy-
These feet have skimmed the sweet waves of Playa Guiones, danced at Rancho Tico with smiling children and surrounded by laughter.
These feet, sadly, will be booted and bummin' tomorrow when, I say "hasta la vista". It's been lovely, sublime, Pura Vida indeed.
Until next year!!!

We had an amazing week at Casa Punta Vista! The view was so serene, it took us most of the week for us to believe it was real.
Our best days were spent reading by the pool, cooling off with a dip every few minutes & enjoying the numerous distractions that the wildlife provided.
This is a true piece of paradise! Pura Vida!

Dear Creston,
Thank you for sharing Casa Punta Vista II with our family for another memorable holiday. The view is magical and we enjoy the different light early in the morning and at dusk. Early morning wind was very strong this week, we left over 2 feet of snow in Minnesota and delighted playing in the waves at Guiones Playa and refreshing in the swimming pool. Leora (age 8) took 2 surfing lessons from Chacho at Guiones and rode every wave all the way to the beach!
We like the fish market in Garza (pescaderia) and had fish for dinner there three times, especially enjoying the corvina. Alex is the owner of the store. Helen (age 14) and Leora always look forward to dinner at their favorite restaurant, Giardino Tropicale, and having Enrique make them pizza and pasta. The children enjoyed a day at the beach with our tico friends Vanessa and Jocelyn- This is the first time we have spent Christmas in Costa Rica, definitely a change from the normal landscape of snow, skating rinks, and winter coats and boots. Every sunset was unique. Thank you for helping our family create lasting memories...
With friendship,

P.S. Tina the housekeeper and Castulo the gardener we such wonderful people, we consider them nuestros amigos. The best part of travel are the friends you make a long the way...

The first visitors of the year!! We had an amazing and relaxing stay in Casa Punta Vista- from lying on the sun deck, watching the sunset ,to taking a cool dip in the pool.
We truly had a wonderful experience here.
On day 2 we had the chance to meet a small family of coatis which grew in size on day 4! Wildlife also joined us inside as we scared away a mama and baby taratula- WOW!!! We were shocked!!
Fishing with Eduardo and Kayaking with DK (Drifter's Kayaks) was a lot of fun and super relaxing at times. Catching dinner and preparing it here was a treat. We definitely recommend it. One thing we learned from Eduardo- "if you wanna drink all day, you gotta start in the morning!!"
This vacation was one of the tamest we've had, staying in, enjoying each other's company and reading a book. Gracias por todos los recuerdos, Pura vida!

Our stay here has been spectacular, it has been quite an adventure from an earthquake, to the threat of a tsunami from Japan along with water and power outages...
The house is beautiful and the views are priceless. Driving on the roads will be an unforgetable experience along with the crossing of at least 10 rivers.
We enjoyed waking up to see the monkeys along with the pizotes, with reluctance and sadness we pack our bags today to depart this little place of paradise.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity... It was nice to meet the both of you and enjoy a spectacular sunset on your porch...
Until another time... may peace and good will be with your both.

Dear Creston & Paula
Casa Punta Vista is the coolest abode situated in one of the most spectacular settings I have over seen. A truly magical place that is, at the same time, both serene and wild; a symphony of sunshine, sights, and jungle sounds. I had a wonderful week. Every day was and adventure and the whole experience rejuvenating. I will do my best to keep Pura Vida with me. Thank you so much, mis amigos, for your incredible hospitality and your friendship.
Love
Pam
Dear Creston & Paula
Casa Punta Vista is such an amazing place.
We found that sitting on the porch and by the pool, looking out on the ocean to be mesmerizing and relaxing at the same time. All the things Nosara has to offer has kept us very busy and not bored even once. Surfing, driving down the coast and ziplining were definitely the highlights of the trip. We learned some Spanish along the way as well, all the places to eat were quite delicious, with very helpful service thank you so much for the lovely dinner and we hope to see you both soon in McCall!
