Refugio de las Mariposas is a fairly new, beautiful, 2 bedroom/bath home with views of the Pacific Ocean from every room in the house. Lovingly decorated with comfortable, tropical decor, this home has dipping pool, large, spacious living area, outdoor shower, and one of the nicest views in the area of Ostional Beach. Great for families, surfers, folks wanting an accommodation off the beaten path...Designed with groups in mind, it is spacious and easily accommodates 8 persons and can comfortably go to 12 with extra beds and fold-out couches.

Refugio de las Mariposas has an amazing white water view of Ostional Beach. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach in a brand new gated community.
Need to cool off and don't want to go to the beach? Enjoy the small dipping pool with waterfall feature off the deck from the living room. Or sun bathe on the brand new deck further below. There's lots of lounging room at Refugio de las Mariposas! Relax on a hammock on the patio to an endless exquisite Pacific Ocean view as you listen to tropical birds and monkeys in the natural jungle setting.
Refugio de las Mariposas was designed with physical comfort and visual delights in mind. Constructed of native materials of local tropical hardwoods and rock, the house exudes an air of tranquility and communicates seamlessly with the gorgeous nature outside. A very spacious living area consisting of a huge living room with sleeper sofas, fully-equiped kitchen, and opens out onto the deck with dipping pool and ocean view.
Refugio de las Mariposas: the living area has 3 sleeper couches, including one king size. Ceiling fans are in every room of the house, with custom hardwood furniture throughout.
Refugio de las Mariposas's kitchen is fully equipped for cooking delicious meals for 4-20 persons!
Master bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house and very roomy. Each has a gorgeous full bath, private patio access and a king size bed with extra sleepers. Refugio de Las Mariposa's bedrooms and bathrooms have the same breathtaking ocean view as does the main area of the house.
The spacious master bedrooms' baths have showers facing the ocean so you feel like you are in a waterfall! Plush linens on the beds and in the baths, as well as tropical mosquito netting draped on the 4 post beds. The beds and baths are light and cheerful.
Enjoy phenomenal Pacific Ocean views of Playa Ostional from the front patio with dipping pool or in one of the hammocks on the bedroom patios.
