With Alamo, every 6 days, you get 1 day free. Therefore daily rates are above and weekly are actually the daily rate X 6 days. You may also elect more than the basic, mandatory insurance but we will need to give you a specialized quote for that. Click here for insurance coverage, rates.
Finally, with Gold or Platinum credit card paid reservations, you are entitled to a discount on the basic insurance only. We can let you know upon reservation, what your rate will be if you pay with those credit card types. This discount is due to the fact that your credit card company covers some of the basic insurance when you book the car rental using the card for payment. Finally, with VISA Gold or Platinum, or American Express paid reservations, you are entitled to a discount on the basic insurance only ($3-$5/per day reduction). We can let you know upon reservation, what your rate will be if you pay with those credit card types.
One-way Rental Drop off Fees:
Nosara to San Jose/Vice Versa: $50
Nosara/Liberia: $25.
3 days rentals or longer, NO drop off fee!
*Note re: Credit Card Policy: You must have a credit (non-debit) card with a credit amount available of the $800 damage deposit + the full amount of your rental fees when you complete your pick up paperwork. This amount is frozen when you get your rental.
Car Seat information/Costa Rican Laws:
A Booster or Car Seat May be needed if....
From 5 to 50 lbs or if under 1 meter (100cm) in height: A Booster or Car Seat is Mandatory
From 40 to 100 lbs or if between 1 meter to 1.45 cm. a Booster Seat will suffice
