Playa Guiones is what is considered in the Surfing world as a beach break, which means it has a sandy bottom with no rocks throughout its entire 6 mile stretch of shoreline. The waves that Playa Guiones receives are typically more forgiving and have many sections to ride, some with fast/barreling sections and others having slower more mushy sections.
