Tropical Retreat is a gorgeous 2 bedroom, 2 bath home ( "Monkey Business" ) with a beautiful adjoining casita ( "the Funky Monkey" ): 1 bedroom, 1 bath. Casual elegance throughout.
Enchanting views of the Pacific Ocean from almost every room in both houses. Decor is all tropical hardwoods, tile, wild cane, rattan and plush linens. High-end construction, detail, appliances furnishings, as well as: A/C, Satellite TV, on-site laundry, safes, alarm, phone & internet access. Large oceanview pool and spacious deck is shared by both houses. Lush tropical landscaping, outdoor shower and plenty of outdoor space for cook-outs, dining & lounging.
Tropical Retreat can only be rented with both Monkey Business & the Funky Monkey together. This property is also available only upon an individual basis/request. It is an exclusive rental made available a handful of weeks per year.
If you want something truly unique, exclusive and tropical, but without sacrificing amenities, then Tropical Retreat is for you.
Located in an exclusive area of Playa Guiones, on the hill, it is a 10 min. drive to local shops, restaurants, services and the beach of Guiones. Accommodates up to 6-8 persons. No children under 8 years of age.

At Monkey Business: High end appliances in a fully-equipped kitchen. Cook for up to 12 persons with all of the most modern conveniences at your disposal. Livingroom/Dining area is comfortable and rustic, with tropical charm.
At Monkey Business: Dining table seats 8-10 comfortably, with additional dining at the breakfast bar or on the deck outside. Your party of 8 can easily swell to take on surprise guests! Either way, dine by sunset overlooking the Pacific.
The rustic touches are throughout: Cana Brava ceilings (wild cane) and ceiling fans stir the air, hammocks outside for napping... Table and Stainless steel grill is great for a cook-out and dining. Fresh fish and veggies with this ocean view is not your average cook-out at Monkey Business!
The master bedroom has a queen size bed, plush linens, and French doors out to the ocean view. Full bath adjacent to the master bedroom has all tile, hardwoods and granite features. Bedroom has A/C.
The second bedroom has its own patio entrance, two twin-size beds which easily convert to a king, plush linens, and French doors out to the ocean view. Full bath adjacent to the second bedroom has all tile, hardwoods, wild cane and granite features. Bedroom has A/C.
The Casita, the Funky Monkey, is as beautiful as the main house, Monkey Business. Done in all hardwoods & tile- the Funky Monkey is brand new, bright and cheerful with a bedroom with queen bed, full bath, full kitchen and sofa bed in the living room. Opens onto its own deck and pool. Tropical Retreat is only rented as a whole: Monkey Business and the Funky Monkey are perfect for 2 families or groups of up to 10 persons. Tropical Retreat is not available to groups with children under 8 years of age. NO SMOKING. NO PETS.
