Villa del Sol/aka Big Wave Dave's is a rare find here! A one minute walk to beautiful Playa Guiones, 4 bedroom/5 bath home with a pool and an ocean view. This home is new, with high-end furnishings such as granite counters, stainless steel appliances, air conditioning throughout, with exquisitely made hardwood furniture. This home in Nosara is truly the "best of the best".

The two other large bedroom suites each have 2 queen-size beds, their own beautifully tiled, granite-featured bathrooms and open to the poolside terrace and chaise lounges. You'll feel spoiled in whichever room you're in!
The new fourth bedroom suite has a double bed with twin bunk.
Capacity: 6-10 persons easily, up to 13 persons maximum.

Big Wave Dave's/Villa del Sol has a master suite with its own sitting room & patio to an ocean view. The other three bedroom suites also have their own bathrooms and open out to the patio and pool area.

The kitchen is great for the discerning chef: state of the art appliances for some fresh, delicious meals.
The living area is tastefully furnished and roomy, with access to the pool and beautiful garden views.

We had a great time in Costa Rica. We loved the house, the pool, and the outside bar. It was all so cool. It was nice metting you also. We rented surf boards and caught really good waves. We went ziplining and horseback riding.
Also we found lots of cool and pretty shells.

Fabulous!

What a paradise. We came to surf & surf we did. Good great waves everyday. Beach is fantastic. House is spectacular.
Ate at 5 restaurants, all good. Bought fresh fish in a private house behind Olga's Bar in Pelada. Grilled it to perfection at BWD Bar.
Found the River Mouth at Nosara very cool!

This is our last day at BWD's but we will return. Our family has certainly enjoyed this beautiful home and country of Costa Rica. This was our first trip to Costa Rica but will not be our last. The restaurants were faublous. La Dolce Vita is the best Italian food in the world. Hector kept the place in shape and we will never forget the true experience of relaxation away from the computers and cell phones.

Our family of 3 had a wonderful time here! The home was perfect, welcoming and an exceptional place to return to after a two day trip to Arenal or Mal Pais.
The neighboors are brilliant , and we truly enjoyed our sabbatical from Genentech here! Thank you!
We loved the beach, visit to Lagarta, Olgas, Harboor Reef and the local rodeo. The best central part of our visit was actually being able to stay right here "at home" and enjoy the pool, the easy week to the beach, the coati and racoon visits, saving crabs from the pool are watching the big birds on the balcony with our toddlers. We loved visits from the neighborhood cats and dogs and the house - staff (Hector and Tina) are wonderful!

We love Big Wave Dave's . Pool is warm, house is beautiful and Hector is sweet. Thank you for the initial set up of the food- too tired to shop 1st day so it was helpful. Be sure to check out Gilded Iguana , esp on live music nights say hello to matt there, the manager - super sweet! Miss Sky zipline is the best and safest- Marvin is so adorable. Robin's icecream is a bit pricey - but worth it, especially after speaking with her, she is a wonderfull woman. Check out La Luna. Incredible sunset views and steak is impeccable . Juan's Surf Shop has some cool threads, not to mention Juan is cool himself-so nice. He really resembles Spiccoli from FastTimes@Ridgemont High. Enjoy the wild life. Please be sure to respect the beauty here. Really, don't take too many seashells home, watch out for the animals on the road and appreciate all of it!

Villa del Sol was the perfect place for a family vacation, Surfing, Swimming, Miss Sky Zipline, Snorkeling, San Juanillo Beach, catching yellow fin and albacore off Bahia Garza , Kayaking on the Rio Montana, fishing for snook a the Boca, and hunting shells on playa Guiones and Pelada, local eateries can only be beat by grilling at "Big Wave Dave's".
-Eat garlic fries@HarboorReef
-Ice cream at Robin's
-Pastries at Cafe de Paris
-Feed and love the local pets
-Relax by the pool
-Shake your shoes out to avoid scorpion stings!
-Invite Hector to dinner

Big Waves Dave's rocks!
We had a great time here. We rode horses- ate at awesome restaurants, and we were even chased by an angry monkey at the reserve because we took a picture of their baby!

What a marvelous contrast this beautiful country is to compared with Finland , where with tools off to our 4 months long around the world trip.
We could not have enjoyed more the company of the Vargas family and the ladies have loved the beach and the swimming pool. I doubt if we can find more beautiful beaches in our next destinations in New Zealand, Australia or Indonesia. But before that we will spend a week in Monteverde.
Ever since getting here, we have loved the week. I have to admit we know a lot more about snowboarding and downhill skiing then surfing.

Villa del Sol has offered us an incredible experience in Nosara. From catching waves to laughing at the pool by Big Wave Dave's, we loved our stay. We miss our family in Mayland, Philadelphia, Boston - in the USA, but we doubt that we want to be back for the 1-2 feet of snow we will be facing.
